Nursing Jobs in California – Skilled Nurses in Demand

Even with the current economic conditions, nursing jobs in California continue to most desirable and sought after by many travel nurses. Recent laws covering nurse to patient ratios were modified, and many additional nursing positions were created, making the nursing shortage more acute. Many hospitals across the state have been unable to accept new patients and have been forced to cut services and programs. Current Federal forecasts predict that by 2010, there will be a shortage of approximately 112,000 nurses in California.

If you’re into biking or hiking, you’ll find hundreds of trails that you can enjoy these sports.
